Ministry of all believers

Our Ministries

Worship

Our Primary Worship Services are held weekly as follows:

Wednesday: 09:00

Sunday (Low Mass): 07:00

Sunday (Sung/High Mass): 09:00

Outreach

The Good Shepherd is a community that is part of the community. Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”

We are only complete, so long as the least of us is complete. We strive by all means to offer support to our congregation and surrounding community.

Pastoral Care

The overall objective of this portfolio is to provide  pastoral care through the different ministries that fall under its ambit.

We visit and take communion to various retirement homes as well as to the housebound.

A group also looks after parish members who have been bereaved recently.

Additional Ministries
1. Children & Youth

Young People Formation is a core focus of the Church. They are the future of today, and remind us all of our innocence and baptism vows. The Kingdom of God belongs to them, and so does the church of God.

2. Media

Media Ministry is the newest Ministry undertaken by the Church, to far reach communities, especially during the current pandemic. This ministry plays a role in making worshipping services more interactive & personal to all in attendance and viewing.

3. Ministry of all believers

We who are many are one Body, for we all partake of the one Bread.

This Ministry is a broader vision of the Church, to increase individual involvement in worship, to further spread the Gospel of Christ, by learning from and teaching one another.

Ministerial Mission

"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."

Ephesians 4: 11-13
